VP, Legal & Compliance – Global Insurance Broker (HHW Clients)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across multiple jurisdictions.

• Develop and implement robust compliance frameworks aligned with insurance brokerage and HNW client advisory standards.

• Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on regulatory risks, governance, and business expansion initiatives.

• Manage relationships with regulators, external counsel, and key stakeholders across global markets.

• Ensure adherence to AML/CFT, data privacy, client suitability, and cross-border regulatory requirements.

• Establish and maintain internal policies, controls, and monitoring programs to support business growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal and/or compliance experience within insurance brokerage, wealth management, or financial services.

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to HNW / UHNW client advisory and cross-border distribution.

• Proven leadership experience managing regional or global legal & compliance teams.

• Demonstrated ability to balance commercial objectives with regulatory risk management.

• Experience engaging with regulators and managing complex, multi-jurisdictional compliance matters.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and strategic influencing skills.

• High integrity, strong judgment, and ability to operate in a fast-growth entrepreneurial environment.
